Oh god it's almost over

Not a great start to the week, but we are mostly settled now.

Have unfortunately discovered that the guy living in the space before us was a heavy smoker and our bedroom stinks, so we have been wiping it down and Febreezing it (and I am SO against that shit) and airing it out like it’s going out of style.  It’s better than it was, but I can still smell stale smoke and it’s disgusting. 

Michael cleaned the back of the closet doors in our bedroom and said his hands came away sticky with what was like tar.  I mean Jesus, if that’s what it does to the room, what is it doing to your innards?  It’s in the fins of our hot water radiators.  Like, WTF.

Yesterday on my lunch hour, like a dummy, I bought some Glade plug ins (I am so against that shit too), but forgot to buy the actual plug.  Michael was like “that’s okay: you’re special”.

Still need to move a few items out of storage at the old place, but I turn the keys over on December 1^st.  Just a few more days.  Then we need a dining room set and a futon for the second bedroom/office.

Hopefully we will get some good sleeps this weekend.  And maybe even a movie!  Have gone for a couple of runs in the last two days, so hoping we can get another couple in this weekend.  Felt good to get out and get moving again, even though it was dark and pissing rain.
