Please support me on May 5th.

Today I saw an unpixelated photo of Jeff Bauman at the end of the Boston marathon. His legs were missing below the knees and one could see the bones protruding.
I routinely refer to the horseshoe I have, but Monday's run was above and beyond that. I am supremely thankful, shaken and lucky to be alive and with all my limbs.
The victims of the Boston bombings are facing medical bills that may exceed nine million dollars (excluding counselling costs).
I am a runner.
I love Boston. I love the race, the city, the people, the atmosphere, the hospitality, the sense of pride, the spirit and, most of all, the spectators.
On May 5th I will be running the Vancouver half marathon in my Boston shirt as a show of support for the Boston tragedy.
Please, if you can, donate: http://onefundboston.org/.
Boston strong.

  1. As soon as they get the 'Province' drop down list error fixed, I'm going to donate. For some reason, they need to know where I live, but don't give the option of filling out the form correctly so I can tell them.

I hope everyone who donates will be generous and help all those people with their bills - it's unfair to expect them to carry the burden of ridiculously high medical fees for something that was inflicted on them.
