I think Philly exceeded our expectations. The food and drink has been exceptional. Philly is trying. They have great public spaces and parks, and an incredibly historic downtown. Some of the buildings we walked past today on our way to the Rittenhouse District were from the late 1700's.
We kicked off the morning with a three mile run along the waterfront after another kick ass free breakfast at the Penn's View hotel. Then we headed into the Rittenhouse shopping district, which was luxe. I bought items at H&M.

We also ate a cheesesteak at Jim's which was realllllllly good and I am bordering on obesity at this point in time.
After a brief nap we headed back to the Sassafrass bar to have a couple of drinks and take in the local talent.
I know my food, I know my wine and I know my music, and you should check out this guy: https://soundcloud.com/kylehazelton.
Off to D.C. tomorrow.
