Yeah. So not so much with the blogging these days, eh? Not sure why, but my mojo is gone. Or maybe I'm just way more relaxed with a lot less to complain about because I don't have to work at all. That part's pretty awesome.
Have been sick for quite a while and attempted to run three miles today. It was far too soon, apparently. Rather humbling. Coughing and running? No. Rye and ginger? Yes.
Oh, here's an updated list of things I hate (for no particular reason):
Mother of pearl type watch faces
Movado watches
People that don't wear bike helmets when they ride their bikes
People that run red lights
The Big Bang Theory
Katy Perry
John Boehner
The Canadian Senate
Driving
Being sick
Wedding dresses
Um, weddings
Seriously: what the fuck is with wedding dresses? I touched a few today and I almost had an allergic reaction.
Very honestly considering getting hitched in jeans, a white t-shirt and suspenders (it is Portland, after all). Actually, throw in some duck boots and I might sense my dad giving me thumbs up...
Things I like?
Californication
Sunshine
Ground round
Wine
Europe
The people in my elevator
Happy Endings
Elbow
My awesome nephew, Declan
Eloping
Doughnut shops
Peace out.
I've lost my blogging mojo too, but I like your lists.

ReplyDelete> People that don't wear bike helmets when they ride their bikes
ReplyDeletePeople that ride on the pavement. Kids, OK, adults nope.
> Katy Perry
Well, she has a couple of good attributes.. :D
> Um, weddings
Got married recently, just me, her and two friends as witnesses went very smoothly and very low hassle.
Mum wasn't pleased, but then she was on a cruise round Norway.
Yeah, at this point we are actually going to have strangers as witnesses because HOW DO YOU CHOOSE. So we choose no one.
ReplyDeleteI'm like the anti-bride (it's just cuter than saying that I'm anti-social).
Was going to go with strangers too, but it was too high risk, what happens if you can't find anyone on the day?
ReplyDeleteIn the UK at least the reg office staff aren't allowed to act as witnesses either which left the whole thing too challenging.
Congrats. BTW.
Thanks!
DeleteI did confirm with the doughnut shop where we will be wed that they will provide witnesses. Yeah. I just said that.
Doughnut shop! Brilliant, you will be doing a webcast won't you?
ReplyDeletePseudonym.... a name from the past! Have you heard from our long lost friend Ms M lately?
ReplyDeleteTechnically it's not a name.. :D
ReplyDeleteWe had a row about Gadaffi and lost touch a bit, and then everything hairy and she vanished from t'net.
Partly why I was nosing around, I was wondering how she was. The last I heard being so bleak it's stuck with me a bit.
Yeah, she cut ties from our family when she was really down in the dumps. I had heard that she was in India and then heard Central America. I miss her.
ReplyDeleteI've emailed her a couple of times as well, but have heard nothing back. Maybe Brian has?
