It's so not over

24,000 points to anyone that gets that lyrical reference.
Anyways, Michael arrived in Paris and we've been touring the sites ever since.  I'm basically just regurgitating everything that our tour director and various local guides have imparted to me... less the accuracy and detail.
We are staying in a very nice area in Paris and English isn't so well spoken here, but we've been making out quite well.
We checked out numerous things that I drove past on my Trafalagar tour (I was about to name them, but it would just take to godddamn long).
Anyways, it was neat to see Napolean's tomb today, as well as the tomb of the Unknown Soldier under the Arc de Triomphe.  We also did a river cruise, which was nice because this one had audio so I learned a bit more.
Had a great lunch on the Rue du Cler today (another Rick Steve's suggestion) though I must say that while it was good, it was not nearly as excellent as the meal we had at Café Med on the Ile St. Louis yesterday: best. crepe. ever.  And the service was brilliant and friendly.  I highly, highly recommend Café Med.  One of the most memorable meals in ages.
So basically we have been walking for hours and hours every day all over Paris and we're loving it.  Tomorrow we hope to go to the Louvre and then check out some jazz in the evening.  The next day we want to "get lost and find ourselves again" (as my Trafalgar tour guide would put it) before packing up and getting ready for our trip to Brugges!
