Last day of the month.
Bye bye, 6th Street East .
Things between us are good. We’re both trying to help each other out and
stay out of each other’s hair.
My mid life crisis isn’t making anything
easier and, because I’m lazy and apathetic, I am impatiently waiting for it to
somehow miraculously solve itself instead of doing something proactive like:
retraining for a different career; travelling Europe ;
attempting to write a book; or becoming a cage fighter.
And now I’ve got another mouth to
feed, another living thing depending on me, so I’ve got to be adult about this.
I am applying to volunteer on Mondays at a
local women’s center, so hopefully they could use an extra hand and it will add
another dimension to my rather one dimensional life.
Hooah.
It's growing up sooo fast!
ReplyDeleteMiddle age? Honey you aren't even close... go ahead and start researching menopause. Brace yourself. He's gonna need drugs, lots of them.
I work with some ladies going through menopause, actually.
DeleteThey fan themselves a lot.
Do they loose their mind from time to time? The fanning is only in the beginning. Then comes the grumpiness, soon after the mind loss and amnesia. Be nice to them, karma is a bitch.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe women have to deal with periods, PMS, childbirth and then finally menopause. Really? Doesn't seem fair.
DeleteI didn't fan myself, I actually removed clothing. It's amazing how people will vacate your office when you start disrobing and saying things like "damn it's so freaking hot in here.... Gawd I'm going to die!"
ReplyDeleteReally? I might try that tomorrow.
