Rocks are important

So, did the Penticton trip which was nice. I am so lucky to have such great in-laws.  And they live in such a beautiful place which makes it all the better.
Met up with R for dinner last night and was a cranky bitch.  It's the looming work deadline of July 2nd.  I can actually feel my personality change.  I'm dropping the f-bomb all over the place, my mom and Michael commented on it: I'm returning to the uptight bitch I was a year ago.  Funny how not working makes you much more easy going.
C'est la vie.
Today we both worked out, moved a couple of bikes out of the bike storage locker (yay: I can finally take my bike out of the remnants of once was a living room!) and donated them at a place on Broadway while at the same time picking up my mom to meet up with my brother and his family for his birthday.
Weird circle: on my last day of work I met them down at the same restaurant.  Now I'm back there again but this time I have to go to work on Wednesday.  ANGRY NOISES.
But oh my god.  My nephew is the best thing ever.  I love him so much. It was such a fun afternoon in White Rock, watching him play with rocks.  Everything he does is more entertaining than anything else going on.
If I knew I could have a kid like Declan, I would probably have a kid.
