Beer me

Because of the raging fungal infection that I have between my webbed toes currently, I am on antibiotics for ten days.  And because the warning that came with my antibiotics said that consuming alcohol would lead to "painful cramps and vomiting", I have voluntarily decided to give up drinking for, um, ten days.
Life is a lot less exciting when sober.  No more consuming one too many glasses of Pinot Grigio and then insulting the largest and most heavily tattooed guy at the bar.  No more driving the wrong way down one way streets and admonishing "Look at all these drunk idiots!".  No more stumbling down a darkened stairwell into a subterranean cock-fight and betting Michael's car.
Not all of the above is true: I really don't like Pinot Grigio.
In other news, the condo still has not sold and so yet again we are starting the moving process and so should be ensconced in my condo in the next six weeks.
Longest.  Move.  Ever.
Finally: Warsteiner sucks.  Even their beer with alcohol tastes like rat piss.  If you have to do a sober stint (and prithee you never do) go with O'Doul's Amber.
Or just keep on with the Tempranillo and ignore the itching, burning sensation between your lower phalanges.

  1. Just douse you feet with apple cider vinegar twice a day. It's a natural anti-fungal. And has no adverse reactions with alcohol. Did you read the side effects of that crap they gave you? Next thing you know your hoochie could be rotting off.

  3. Heavy duty antibiotics have side effects?? LOL.

I'm going to douse Michael in apple vinegar while he's sleeping tonight.

  4. Let the pickling begin. Seriously... I had a toenail fungus from a pedicure gone bad (that Bitch cut me!) and I tried all the creams to get rid of it. Finally I ran across some website that told of all the awesome things that vinegar can be used for and getting rid of toenail fungus and athlete's foot is on the list. I always tell Doctors that I'm allergic to antibiotics so they won't prescribe them to me. I hate it when I feel like my hoochie is going to rot off.

    1. LOL. I typically don't let people touch my feet. And typically people are happy about that.
