As of late we've been watching Game of Thrones. Yes. A friend burned the DVDs for us and we've been watching them but, long story long, the HDMI cable that we need to hook up my laptop to Michael's TV was at my place - and we picked it up tonight - but I failed to factor in the fact that Michael's laptop doesn't have a DVD drive, and also that when I dropped off my laptop at my place, it had the GOT DVD in it.
Confused yet?
Yes.
And this is why no one else will have me.
Michael, currently, is en route to my place to get my laptop (with DVD) because I wasn't willing to start on the second disc of Game of Thrones because we'd be missing like two or three episodes and
you have to watch them in order.

Earlier in the day, when we were driving down Lonsdale and the car in front of us came to a complete stop I utterly lost my shit and (get this: I wasn't even driving) leaned over and laid on the horn. Michael turned to me and asked if I knew what was going on. Seems the car in front of us had stopped because the car in front of them was trying to parallel park.
Yeah.
Beep.
I'm an asshole.
In other news: had a great weekend with friends and with Michael in Whistler. R and I went up on Friday afternoon, did a little shopping, did a little partying and then watched the riders come in on Saturday morning. Michael shaved about ten minutes off last year's ride and was totally relaxed and somewhat pain free.

Jim Cuddy and Barney Bentall jammed on stage in their bike shorts again this year, but this time were joined by Adam van Koeverden and Simon Whitfield. WTF. It was so quintessentially Canadian and everyone was in such good spirits: the crowd singing along; everyone with big grins. Had some great post race tapas at
Elements before crashing for the night.
As always we went to
Wild Wood for breakfast today and I think I'm still full. Not only is it the best brunch in Whistler? It's likely the best brunch in BC. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Drove home. Survived the beeping incident. Met with J and G for a much, much overdue dinner at Brown's and, blessed life?
I surely do have it.
Which is good, as no one else would have me.
