Baby powder farts

As we felt somewhat compelled to up the ante on Saturday, Michael got up extremely early and went for a several hour bike ride while I slept.  When he returned, tired but invigorated, I went to the pool and did laps for an hour while he had a nap.
Then I came home and this is what happened.  It was 2:45pm, I hadn't had lunch, Michael was napping, there was last night's dishes still in the sink, and we were supposed to be a yoga at 4pm.  Hungry, I decided to make myself a salad.  I asked Michael if he had had lunch to which he responded in the negative so I offered to make him a salad which he hemmed and hawed about.  I wanted to know if he wanted lunch because (and this is where it becomes very complicated and critical): if he wanted lunch I would open up a can of salmon and share that with him in our salads; if he did not want lunch I would open up some black beans for my salad, and not have half a (rather expensive) can of salmon drying out in the fridge.
Sleepy from his nap and tired from his ride he asked "Why are you talking so fast?" to which I started screaming "Beans or salmon!!!".
So that was really weird.  Unsure of the correct response, he opted not to eat anything.
We made it through that relationship difficulty, had a quick shower and headed down to Yogapod.  That was Saturday.  My hamstrings are still sore.  That was an intense ninety minutes, my friend.  And it was "warm" yoga and I don't do well with any sort of heat and I was soaked.  I don't think I'll be attending a hot yoga session, though Michael already has, amazingly.  We're both very glad he's going and he's happy with the results.
As that wasn't enough for one day, we returned home, cleaned up, went for sushi and then caught "The Love Vigilantes" act down at the quay.  One of the duo of singers is Neil Osborne from 54.40 and I was hoping for a little more of their stuff ("Feast of Ida!") but we were only treated to "I Go Blind".  Why is it that aging, successful Canadian musicians are embracing ballad and folk type music?  I didn't love it, but they were good and he has a great voice and it was fun to be up so close to such talent.
Yesterday was pretty low key because the next few weeks are going to be somewhat of a gong show.
I need to stop eating so much.
Salmon salad for tomorrow.  Not beans.
